An art performance by Monali Meher in the big valley close to Longyearbyen “Adventdalen”. Arctic Action VI, October 2021 Monali is wrapping a yellow, a green and a blue transparent tissue around an old rusty oven used for burning garbage in the past.

Monali works outside of Longyearbyen, just below the mountain of the last running coal mine the settlement. She is unrawelling a ball of red yarn…, before rawelling it back up again.
